Meet Dakota; he is a fun loving, happy guy that is just itching to go to his forever home. He came to us looking pretty bad. Infected bite wounds, hairless and patchy from mange, extremely dirty, and just sad.
He also had cryptorchid, but has been full neutered, and is recovered from his mange(hair is growing back in nicely.) He's UTD on his shots and is microchipped. He is crate trained, but REALLY prefers to be out with his people. He's an oversized puppy, and loves to chew on his kongs and other chew toys. He's great with all dogs, but wants to play with the cats a little too much. So best in a home without cats. He's great with people. He's high energy, so best in a home without small children or those not experienced. He does calm down, and is being worked with on his manners.
No apartments/duplexes/townhomes Must be 21 yrs of age or older to adopt. Don't forget to click on the photo to see the entire photo album.

Meet Sophie; she wasn't a planned rescued resident. She arrive May 18, 2012. We actually pulled her for another rescue to take. But due to
misunderstandings on their end, Sophie ended up staying with us. And here she'll stay until she finds her forever home. Sophie is an American Bull dog/Boxer mix. She came in severely emaciated(starting weigh- 40lbs), high heart worm positive, covered head to to in fleas(so bad they have literally embedded themselves into her skin), tape worm infested, and a nasty infected wound on top of her head. It's very obvious Sophie has led a very hard, unloved life. She had calluses on her elbows from being kept on a hard surface, was obviously not kept as a pet, multiple scars from bite wounds all over her legs, and scars on other places of her body from who knows what. Surprisingly Sophie was already spayed and looks to never have had a litter of puppies. She's very loving, sweet, and submissive. She can scale a 5ft chain link in no time flat though. She's house trained, and does well left alone uncrated in the house. Sophie is a senior- at about 6-8 years old. Sophie is available for foster to adopt. It would be best she be the only dog, or only female dog. No cats. No apartments/duplexes/townhomes Must be 21 yrs of age or older to adopt.
Adoption Fee: $160. Don't forget to click on the photo to see the entire photo album.

Meet Oliver, he is a spunky, smart 7 month old, puppy that had a very hard start to his life prior to coming here to Phillips Fosters Rescue on August 16, 2012. It's been a long road to recovery but Oliver has done a fantastic job. He's completely healed from his wounds and his mange. And is still just as happy as any puppy can be. He's about 90% house trained. He's crate trained. He knows the basic command of sit.
He loves to play fetch and does well with all other animals. He's great with kids and adults. Does awesome on a lead and out in public. He loves people and loves to be loved on.
Oliver would really love to find his forever home soon. Will you be it?
Adoption Fee is $160.Don't forget to click on the photo to see the entire photo album.

Meet Daisy; she came to us severely emaciated, weighing only a mere 5lbs. She now weighs 20lbs, and is still growing. She's about 6 months old now. I don't think she'll get too big in size at all. She and her sister I
think will stay on the small side of medium. They both seem to be a pit bull mix of something. Both are very petite girls. Daisy is a lovely girl that loves all animals. She loves cats and kittens, but of course wants to chase them. She is a puppy and has puppy antics. She loves to grab any and everything she can as she runs around the house. She's about 96% house trained. She's kennel trained,
but would prefer to be with her people. We are working on leash training and basic commands such as sit, lay, etc. She'll soon be spayed. She's already chipped and UTD on her shots. She's ready and waiting for her forever home. Will
that be you? You can see photos of Daisy's journey with us by clicking her photo to see her photo album on our facebook page. Daisy's adoption fee is $160. Please read our adoption policies prior(HERE) to filling out an application for our rules on adopting. Thank you!

Meet Minnie; she is the sister to Daisy. She is approx. 6 months old. They do not need to be adopted together. They are not bonded, and I would actually advise against it.
Minnie came in weighing 9lbs and also severely emaciated. She's blossomed to a good 20lbs, and is just a hoot. We're working on her manners, leash training, and basic commands. She's kennel trained, and also about 96% house trained. She's good with all animals, kids and people. Like to chase cats, but not to hurt them. She does have some food aggression we are working on. Same as Daisy. It's pretty common. Minnie will also be spayed soon and ready for her forever home. Will you make Minnie's 2013 be better than her start in 2012? Minnie's adoption fee is $160. Please read our adoption policies prior(HERE) to filling out an application for our rules on adopting. Thank you!
